Common Errors

The negative is formed with “not” when it is followed by a verb.
e.g. John is not speaking today.
It is formed with “no” when followed by a noun.
e.g. There is no question of the importance of this issue.

The verb “prevent” is always followed by ‘from + ...ing’

e.g. They also allege that the company acts in bad faith preventing them from using the quadrangle shape that they claim to have used before.
